Mehmet Özdil, Founding President of the International Tradesmen’s Union (UEB) and President of the Ümraniye Chamber of Tradesmen and Artisans, hosted an important reception at the headquarters. Aslan Çoban, President of the UEB Siirt Branch, visited President Mehmet Özdil to present projects aimed at the future of Siirt and the region’s small business owners.

Grant, Incentive, and Cooperativism Initiative

During the productive meeting held at the General Headquarters, critical topics aimed at increasing small business owners’ production capacity and facilitating their access to markets were discussed. The main agenda items highlighted during the meeting were as follows:

• Grant and Incentive Programs: Ensuring small business owners maximize their access to financing opportunities

• Support for Production: Reducing input costs for local producers and increasing production capacity

• Cooperative Initiatives: Promoting models that will strengthen solidarity and collective bargaining power

• Foreign Trade and Exports: Strategies to help small business owners access national and international markets
