1. Purpose
As the International Tradesmen’s Union Association (“UEB” or “Association”), we place great importance on the security
of your personal data.
This Privacy Notice has been prepared to
inform you—in our capacity as the data
controller under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”)—about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom it may be disclosed, the
methods by which it is collected, and the rights you possess.

4. Purposes
of Processing Personal Data Your personal data is processed to:
• Conducting membership procedures,
• Managing corporate membership processes,
• Evaluating applications for provincial and international representative offices,
• Evaluating volunteer applications,
• Creating event registrations,
• Planning training and events,
• Sharing news and announcements,
• sending electronic newsletters,
• responding to communication requests,
• conducting association activities,
• ensuring security,
• developing the website,
• conducting statistical analyses,
• fulfilling obligations arising from legislation,
• and conducting
legal proceedings.

6. Legal Grounds

• the conduct of association membership processes,

• the protection of the Association’s legitimate interests,

your explicit consent.
7. Transfer
of Personal Data Your personal data may be transferred to:
• Authorized public institutions and organizations,

• prosecutors’ offices,
• enforcement offices,
• legally authorized administrative authorities,
• legal advisors,
• information technology service providers,
• cloud and server service providers,
• and organizations
from which technical support services are obtained, in accordance with applicable legislation and subject to the necessary security measures.
8. International Representations
The International Tradesmen’s Union Association maintains representations and conducts international collaborations
outside of Turkey.
Where required by the nature of these activities, personal data may be shared with overseas representative offices or partner organizations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with the necessary security
ömeasures in place.
Such sharing is limited solely to specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes.
9. Retention
of Personal Data Personal data is

the extent necessary until the resolution of any potential legal disputes.
At the end of this period, the data is securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

UEB takes the necessary administrative and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data.
Some of these include:
• SSL security certificates,
• firewalls,
• Cloudflare protection systems,
• CDN infrastructure,
• authentication systems,
• regular backups,
• access logs,
• log management,
• up-to-date security software, and
• staff authorizations.
11. Data Subject Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects have the following rights:
• The right to learn whether their personal data is being processed;
• if so, the right to request information regarding such processing;
• the right to learn the purpose of processing;
• the right to learn the third parties to whom the data has been transferred within or outside the country;
• the right to request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed data;
• the right to request the erasure or destruction of data;
• To request that third parties be notified of any corrections or deletions made,
• To object to a decision made solely through automated systems that
çresults in a negative outcome for the data subject,
• To claim compensation in the event of damage resulting from unlawful data processing.
12. Submission Method
You may submit your requests under the KVKK via
email to info@ueb.org.tr
or in writing to our association’s headquarters address.
Requests will be evaluated and resolved within the timeframes specified in the applicable legislation.
13. Updates
The International Tradesmen’s Union Association reserves
the right to update this Privacy Notice in accordance with changes in legislation, technological
developments, or changes in its services.
The updated text enters into effect on the date it is published at www.ueb.org.tr.
14. Governing Law
The laws of the Republic of Turkey shall govern the application of this Privacy Notice.
In the event of any disputes, the competent courts and enforcement
offices affiliated with the Istanbul Anatolia Courthouse shall have jurisdiction.
